The wall painting was designed and realized on a building that includes a housing solution for people with mental health problems in the outskirts of Rome. Its new appearance makes it extremely easy to locate within the urban fabric by the inhabitants of the house. Similarly it is recognizable and unusual for the inhabitants of neighborhood, highlights the activities and erase the segregation of "different people". Mara was a person close to the inhabitants of the house, unfortunately he died prematurely. For this reason the association Virtus Italia ONLUS has decided to name the structure “Casa di Mara”.
The tree and the robin (chosen by the inhabitants of the house) contain several symbolic values that are the basis of this project, which encourages and promotes the autonomy and social integration.
