This project is made with maps that depict regions of my home town I lived in. I moved a lot from place to place, but these four places are equally memorable to me.
By engraving each map near my home into plexiglass, I am recording my own memory path. Transparency of the plexiglass shows time lapse of these memories, but in the end they are unified as one. I have engraved these maps in shaped of Korea to show that the base of my nationality and my homeland is still Korea. Although what I call home is in multiple places at different times of my life, I still carry my identity as a Korean artist.
