The Holiday Roast Bags are a chance for Portland Roasting Coffee to step outside of their typical packaging and do something a little more special and a little more sophisticated. We chose the flat-bottom style coffee bag because of how well the bag sits on the shelves. The black and the gold lend the bag a special Holiday look without leaning to much towards a specific holiday. The Label is long and skinny and folds over the bag once it has been sealed and rolled up.

This year the Holiday Roast included a contest to help drive sales. Each bag was packaged with card, but only 3 had winning cards in them. I was charged with designing the non-winning card that went into most bags. The card also doubled as a coupon.
