This is a stencil typeface design project, the inspiration is from the old serif script in local cathedral, which really make me feel interesting, especially for the serif pattern on the serif script. After that, I am thinking to use simplest way to create one typeface, that could the combination between old and modern, so I add the tiny serif on the heavy stroke in each lowercase with high x high and long descender.

这个课题主要是关于蜡版印刷字体的设计,也是学习如何造字的一个开始,那这款字 体主要灵感是来自于教堂内的石碑刻文,对于拥有明显碑文衬线字体,我想运用最简 单的方法去结合现 代和老旧这两个元素,在之后的设计过程中我运用较粗的笔触加 细小的弧形衬线,较高的x字高 和降部,来凸显这一感觉。
