PARKLET BOOMERANG
2016 - FURNITURE DESIGN THESIS | PUBLIC | URBAN
Designed as intersection of two boomerangs, the parklet is an extension of public area. The parklet occupies two parking spaces and generally is placed in front of commercial areas as bars, restaurants and stores. The design of parklet was thought in order to generate three spaces integrated and at the same time that can join different groups of people.
Designed with remains of wood construction or reforestation and other elements for sustainability of the project as use of native plants and drought resistant plantings, accessibility, and the main this project can be built by the local community with remains of materials.
