I really liked this one page in my sketchbook and decided to use it in a contest for SCBWI. I decided to draw my cat in a medieval cover band.

Below I added the pencil lineart and the separate hand-drawn type where I drew the individual letters that I needed, so that I could get continuity by reusing repeating letters.
