Label and accessory concepts for Ferrarelle

For this project, Ferrarelle - naturally sparkling mineral water Italian brand - asked us to identifying, conceptualising and developing new labels and accessories solutions able to resonate with Jubilee event in Rome and global customers - from commuters and local travellers to tourist and pilgrims from around the world.

PicPod

During the research, we identified many ways that people use to hang the water bottle and we discovered that most of them prefer to carry it in their hands to facilitate the access to drink, even if it's more discomfortable. For this reason, we designed an accessory as a handle for the bottle that is more comfortable to carry, and in the same time, it can be used it as a tripod, when the customer stops to check a tourist point. Just take off the accessory from the bottle, put it on the ground, place the phone on shelf and take amazing photos and movies, and of course, take a break to drink the water.

For the label, we created two layers that allow the user to rotate them and see through a little window some important monuments in Rome and starts to travel around the city with already some information about them.

accessory to keep the water cold

COOLer

This concept gives an opportunity to customer keeps the water cold during a warm day. The accessory is a thermo bag that keeps the water temperature and thanks for the handle, it's easy to carry, leaving the hands free. A good point for the client is even if the customer, for any reason, is not drinking a Ferrarelle water, the bag is branded, so he'll still spread the name of company going around the city.

The label is printed with a thermo ink, that means the customer could know even before buy the water, if it's fresh or not. When the water is cold, whole text on the label is green and when the bottle is getting hot, the colour changes to gray.
