On 12 May 2014 The Girl Effect Turkey team were given the wonderful opportunity to travel to Van; a small town on the side coast of Turkey, to meet some of the girls the program supports.
After spending sometime during a traditionally prepared lunch, the team conducted a workshop with the girls; to imagine, (if the sky is the limit) where would they like to see themselves in five years time. The girls were then asked to put their imaginations on an A3 piece of paper. At the end of the day over 50 pictures were collected.
12 images from the workshop were chosen for the design of this calendar. All proceeds made through the sale of the calendar were donated to The Girl Effect movement.
