This is a personal project for a friend I will be visiting soon. I wanted to portray serenity, that sense of inner peace and equanimity. I found a model of the Buddha on TurboSquid and focused on the composition, lighting and shading. Below are the final render, followed by a clay render of the scene and an intermediate rendering.
