For the logo, I created a completely original typeface based on perfect circles and 45 degree angles. Since the typeface was round, I wanted to create a simple circular logo to go along with it. It is inspired by both the stripes of a honey bee and the ridges in a honey dipper. 

I put a construction paper texture over my marketing pieces to give it more of an organic, hand-made, natural feel–which is what 'bee honest honey' encompasses. 

My first marketing piece is a magazine ad. I've always liked the simple elegance of magazine ads and their ability to draw attention based on very few design elements. I thought the glowing golden gradient background coupled with the golden amber honey worked perfectly for a simple yet appealing magazine ad. I wanted to showcase the 'bee honest honey' wooden lid honey dipper. the dipper and the logo utilize design repetition. My goal with this ad is to spread brand recognition and get people informed and interested in our product.

My second marketing piece is an email newsletter. I thought it would be nice if 'bee honest honey' could be a subscription based product that would ship 6oz. vials of honey complete with our unique wooden lid honey dipper. These shipments would be made weekly or monthly. lower within the newsletter customers can click on links that would take them to honey recipes, info on locally sourced honey, and our different varieties of honey.
