With the meteoric rise of social media and smartphones, we are as connected as we have ever been and many of us enjoy displaying an increasingly greater part of our lives online in order to keep social connections intact despite great distances and extended periods of seperation.

Widentity is an installation that tracks individual users physically and visualizes their traffic on a public wireless network. The goal is to raise awareness about the risks of sending sensitive data via these networks and to develop our online risk assessment.
