Tempest Grooming

Project objective
My objective for this project was to try something out of my comfort zone. I feel like a lot of what I design is targeted towards woman, so I wanted to try to design something that targeted men. I decided to design two market pieces and logo for a fictitious company called Tempest Grooming that sells grooming products for beards.

Research
Researching beard grooming products was defiantly interesting. A lot of the designs that I found were mostly illustration designs. The logo was almost always in a circle with an animal or a man with a giant beard. The colors were mostly reds and blues and most of the web site advertisements would say "Be a man" or "You aren't a cool guy unless you buy this product."

Concept and Solution
My concept was to create a modern and visually appealing logo. When I brainstorm, I write down many words. Some of the words that I wanted my product to portray was dapper, sophisticated, modern, and urban. The solution was to create a bread grooming product that give bearded men the product he needs to ensure that his face mane is soft, shiny, and smells impeccable.

Men from ages 17-60

If you have a beard, it's important to groom regularly.
