The Bucket List Diaries
In May of 2016, I was invited by Krish to design a logo and masthead for her travel-blog. (You can follow her adventures at http://www.thebucketlistdiaries.net/) The original concept sketches provided me were fun; but, they were presented in a manner that was dependent on details which would not reduce well.
I proposed some recognizable iconography (bucket & antique keyhole/lock) then worked the requested elements into the keyhole plate. All images were created from scratch; original pen sketches were converted to vector & then further edited. The result; a design that degrades cleanly into recognizable elements when reduced in size, while offering an additional, on-theme motif when viewed at a larger scale.
