In an exploration of the context in which explicit images are viewed and how this affects their perception in art versus pornography, I deconstructed vintage Playboy magazines and rebound them into hardcover books. This recontextualization allows the women photographed to be viewed differently and by a new audience, separate from the degradatory connotation of a "nudie magazine".
