If you haven't seen the sun glimer off the White Cliffs of Dover during sunset in Dover, England, add it to your bucket list. I was bartending an event in the basement of my dorm the day before when this squad asked me to head out on a train the next morning to see the cliffs. #CarpeDiem and here we are, watching the most candid sunset of my year abroad thus far.
What's impossible to see about this picture is the struggle it took for us to get from Dover to the actual cliffs... Here is a picture that pretty much sums up the problem...
MUD, EVERYWHERE. There had been a snow storm a few days earlier, and after the snow melted, the hills around the cliffs were synonymous with a hockey rink. Next time I'm bringing the Tims (The boot kind, not Hortons, but wow I love me some Tim Hortons).
