Brancusi's Heads and the China 12 is a futuristic noir detective story, resonating with Ghost in the Shell as it explores the nature of where man ends and machine begins.
As the main themes of the book is technology but with a noir detective feel, I wanted to showcase the future elements while giving it a classic sci-fi look that was prominent in the 80s. The overlaid images also hint at one of the main plot points in the book (no spoilers here...).
