Mic Check
Mic Check is a recurring monthly hip-hop night in Portland, Oregon which showcases local talent from around the northwest. Past performers have included Libretto, Vursatyl of the Lifesavas, and Vinnie Dewayne. The night has been running since June 2016 and has expanded to include a Los Angeles night as well. The logo is a nod to the visual language of the late 1970s when hip-hop began as a movement.
