MAMATAD
We grew up in Dinbych-y-Pysgod, which in English translates to 'the Fortlet of the Fish'.
For as long as we lived there, the village itself remained the same.
The Barbican gatehouse, a 15th century chapel and the untouched residents of a Tudor Merchant.
We now reside just off East Street Market, Elephant & Castle.
The birthplace of English comic, actor, filmmaker and composer Charlie Chaplin.
We have always possessed the unfamiliar Welsh dream of rising to Hip-Hop stardom.
In January 2016 we met Jac Harries, experimental producer and DJ.
Jac grew up on Barry Island, a small seaside resort and setting of the BBC TV show Gavin & Stacey.
That's 2 Welsh Twins and a disc Jaccy.
MAMATAD independently dropped their first record in March 2016 entitled 'Charlie Chaplin'.
Jac's beats & Will's bars.
Dubbed a combination of popular London subculture 'PC Music' & E14's TRIM.
The music video was shot, directed & edited by Niall.
In June 2016, we were asked to play at Secret Solstice Festival, Iceland.
On returning, we released 'Bore Da Reykjavik', our debut EP.
