Linked Hybrid, located in Beijing, China, is a large complex consisting of 750 apartments, public green space, cinematheque, and more. The complex takes up one city block and is mindful of the pedestrian community by including bridges amongst the building and space to roam.There are three levels, the ground level is shops and recreation, second level is roof gardens and bridges, and among them are apartments. The exterior colors reference historical architecture from Buddhist temples and various ancient monuments. The geo-thermal walls them with cooling in the summer and heating in the winter earns them the LEED Gold rating, making it one of the largest green residential projects.
