Without the use of images, I redesigned an antiquated Amtrak schedule to match the ideology of their slogan, “enjoy the journey,” using typography. I left areas blank where no trains were departing to give the eye a pause. The schedule is only one color and tints, which would be cheaper to produce if this was a design the company planned to actually use. I also utilized the westbound and eastbound directions of the train, using arrows to indicate the directions.
