The main intent his project was to create a table that could also be seen as a sculptural piece. It mixes the functionality of daily objects with the imaginative qualities of an art. The form of this coffee table was inspired from Rocks and Minerals. The jagged edges are meant to emulate the sharp edges of stalagmites formed in caves. The shapes of the table along with the sturdy materials, wood and steel, exist to emulate the rough, hard, and uneven qualities of rocks.
