Cuba, as many other places is a time capsule, disappearing before or very eyes. There was this old fisherman in Kojimar, the place where Ernest Hemingway wrote his famous novel, who couldn’t be fishing any more, so instead he learned to play a guitar in order to earn a few cents playing and singing for the tourists on the little square in Kojimar. Our guide said to me that when this old man doesn’t show in the square, the Cuba as we may have known it is going to disappear very soon.
