City of Lakes Waldorf

Front and back of the card
The City of Lakes Waldorf Project was to design a spoke card for the students participating in the 25th annual Bike-A-Thon fundraiser. The opportunity to take part in this project was more than exciting for us. To make this flat and laminated card, that is mass produced something that is tactile and textured was going to be the mission.
If you familiarize yourself with the Waldorf education philosophy, you'll find that there's no computers. Students create projects through handwork, painting, collaging and other forms of mixed media. It celebrates nature and the seasons.
While riding home to work on this project, I realized everything I needed to create this project was in my back yard. Drawing after drawing was overthinking this problem. The solution came organically.
It was a joy to donate our time to this project. We were ultimately honored to assist the school and give however possible.
