I built Mashbord in 2009 as a way to help me visualize my ever-growing bookmarks list. I continually lost important bookmarks because the text description just wasn't descriptive enough. Mashbord provides a visual way for me to bookmark and organize my most used sites. I decided to build it out and offer it as a free application.
Mashbord allowed me to flex my UX and design muscles by creating a simple yet engaging flow for signup as-well-as a unique way to organize bookmarks. In addition to direct entry of sites, the application also includes a browser bookmarklet for adding sites to your Mashbord's bins.
