The pictures above were from the Cathedral of Évora.

Below are some photos of a roman temple called "Templo de Diana". It's a very beautifull landmark that has been there since the 1st Century AD.

Below are the photos of Saint Francis Church. :)

Sorry about some of the photos being out of focus but... we cannot take photos with flash in this places. The pressure of radiation from the flash helps to degrade the paintings and some of the other pieces that are inside of the church.
Below are some photos of the Chapel of Bones.
Yeap those are real bones from real people that died. This was a place for meditation and were one would thing about life and death.
It has some... quite odd poems you can see them in the link below.

Évora is a beautifull city the is in Alentejo region, in Portugal.
Its monuments show the influence of different eras that go from the Prehistoria passing through the era of the Roman Empire, passing through the Mourish rule to the conquest by the portuguese King Afonso I in 1166 AD, the middle-ages, until our days...
It is also considered a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.
This few pictures that I show you here are just a small part of what one can find there. :) It is worthy to visit that I can tell you! ;)

The Bones Chapel is a very... intense place.
(The first time I went there I was about 12 years old if I recall correctly. I didn't slept for a couple of days. :-\ )

About radiation pressure... It is real. So... In a museum or a church that has very old artwork please don't use flash. It does damage the artwork. (If you don't believe that radiation pressure exists, think about how the Solar Sail works! ;)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_sail )
It's not that taking one picture with flash will destroy the artwork but... You've to think that this places are visited by alot of people and this would mean millions of flashes over long periods of time, so... yeap it does alot of damage. :-\

Thank you for your visit, and I hope you enjoy. :)
