Less than 5,000 people worldwide are diagnosed with a Gastro Intestinal Stromal Tumor each year. For these patients, the fight is bigger than their individual treatment, it’s for the select few – patients and practitioners – who share their struggle. The annual GIST Cancer Research Fund fundraiser is this tight-knit community’s opportunity to celebrate the strides they’ve made and raise awareness and funds to continue their search for a cure.
