New Era for Rochester Law Firm
August 30, 2011- Boylan, Brown, Code, Vigdor & Wilson, LLP is charging forward intoan exciting new era with a shortened name, additional attorneys and a brand-newheadquarters.
Boylan, Brown, Code, Vigdor & Wilson, LLP hasshortened its name to Boylan Code, LLP. The namechange recognizes partners Alfred Boylan and Ralph (Buz) Code’s contributionsto the practice of law and to the Rochester community. Partners Justin Vigdor and John Wilsoncontinue to practice with the firm as Senior Counsel.
Thefirm’s 62 employees moved to the newly renovated Culver Road armory, occupying19,000 square feet of space on the first floor of the former U.S. Army NationalGuard post on Friday, August 26. The new headquarters are located at 145 CulverRoad, across from Cobb’s Hill Park and directly off of Interstate 490.
“The new spaceoffers easy access for clients and staff, with ample free parking and additionalamenities,” said partner Ralph J. “Buz” Code III. “Both our staff and ourclients are very excited about the move, and we see this as an opportunity togrow and expand in our community.”
Fred Rainaldi ofWhitney Baird Associates LLC, who purchased the armory from the state in 2009,contacted the firm about a year ago regarding the space.
The Firm has also added several new attorneys:Jennifer Weidner, an experienced estates and trusts attorney; Carol Maue, Chairof the Firm’s Business Practice Group; and Alan Lockwood, who rejoined the firmas a partner in its Business Practice Group after serving as-in house counselto a large multinational company for several years.
The firm’s new website, www.boylancode.com, will belaunched in the coming days.
