Ameena: Flavors of Morocco is my senior project in my last year at the Art Institute of Seattle. This project is a derivative of my thesis: Exploration of Travel Experience. The core of my thesis covers the importance of tourism in the construction of culinary authencity. Enjoying meal at this restaurant is a lot like a travel experience that is meant to induce awareness and appreciation of the historical and cultural values that were being referenced.
To complete this project, I collaborated with Christle Ratnawati who worked on the Interior Design of the Restaurant. She was designed the structure of the restaurant. Later on, Kim-Au Le continue to produce the final Hand Rendering from Christle's Interior Design.
