About Pet Hero
Pet Hero is an online pet supply store selling various pet foods, supplies, toys and more.
The name "Pet Hero" implies that the company is a hero to you and your pet, but that you as the owner will also be the hero to your pet when buying from Pet Hero.
What was required:
- Logo design
- Merchandise (keyholders, pens, mousepads, magnets, banners, spinning wheel, hats and shirts, etc which is shown in a separate Behance project)
- Website design
- Character design
- Social media, Infographics and marketing
The Logo:
My involvement with Pet Hero involves various branding and marketing opportunities. I designed the Pet Hero logo with the idea of a comic book in mind. It was meant to be striking, memorable, colourful and bold. We chose the colours red, grey and blue for the brand. The logo is shown at the top of this page.
Further branding was developed in the form of character designs, the "heroes" of the brand. These characters were cats and dogs that would speak to children and pet owners alike. These characters aim to provoke engagement and emotion from customers.
During my time at the company I created three characters, The main dog Patch who is a mixed breed dog, Linc, who is a ginger cat and also Taz, who is a Yorkshire Terrier from a smaller breed of dog.
