Atouraya: Identity Logo
Atouraya is my own personal brand for my freelance gigs. The basic idea behind it is that I use my actual identity to represent the business identity. "Atouraya" is the Syriac word for Assyrian, which is my ethnicity, and an identity i am very proud of.
The most prominent and well known figure of Mesopotamia is the Lamassu (winged bull). This guardian of cities is very representative of my culture and who we are as a people. It was only appropriate to use as my symbol.
Just as important as it was to use the Lamassu, the fingerprint addition helps the two points of identity come together. It is ingrained in me.
