For this assignment I chose to do the column of text example. I started by making the background. I added a gradient and a graphic of bokeh in the background and lowered the opacity to make sure the bokeh effect could been seen, but wasn't distracting.

Next, I added the quote and broke the text into the chunks I wanted. I chose my fonts, starting off with Futura because it's easy to read, and then added the script font to give the words "dreams" and "big enough" some emphasis. I chose the colors by using the eye dropper tool on the background bokeh graphic. I played some with the tracking and kerning to make sure the quote looked right and I had enough space for the dividers.

To keep with the bokeh theme, I added the bokeh effect dividers in the text. I created it using a custom brush and added an inner glow effect. I chose these colors from the bokeh graphic background as well, to tie everything together.
