EUREKA PITCH 2016
Concept: To create a logo for "Eureka Pitch 2016" event, which is an education event organised for graduates to shine on stage in front of the many employers invited to this event. There are several design approach in creating this logo, such as using typography, icons, symbols relating to education, vintage style, modern style, etc, each having its own meaning.
My initial idea was to use human icons, the concept being 5 icons (students) representing different industries with different colors. However, it came out looking more like a formal business/organisation logo rather than an educational logo.
As for the other logos above, the concept behind the tree is growth, showing how graduates are still growing and slowly moving out to the working world.
Moving on to vintage style logo, trying out different fonts, ribbons, shapes, icons, colors and lines.
Lastly, a modern approach of the logo, masking prism on the pentagon shape.
