A Beauty out of the period royalties. A body long-limbed with few curves. She was different in playing by the examples of  the period. A gruff voice and a body without enphasis as the others actreeses. Katharine Hepburn was atipical woman, but she was considered  the greatest  actress of all time.  She never weared the skirts out the set and she often put the sneakers. She had short and red hairs, she never put jewels and she didn't use the make up. She was able to change based on the characters: she put pecious jewels and elegant dresses to intensify  her body to act the part of  Tracy Lord in" Scandal in Philadelphia", she weared modern and colored dresses in "Susanna" and she weared a tailleur like a business woman to act the part of Amanda in the film " The Adam's rib".

Una bellezza decisamente fuori dai canoni dell'epoca. Un corpo longilineo, con poche      

curve. Un modo di recitare diverso dagli schemi di quegli anni. Una voce roca e un       

viso privo dell'esagerata enfasi delle altre attrici. Katharine Hepburn era decisamente

indossava mai gonne fuori dal set e aveva sempre le scarpe da ginnastica. Portava i      

capelli rossi e corti, mai gioielli e non usava un filo di trucco. Ma era capace di trasformarsi completamente in funzione dei suoi personaggi: gioielli preziosi e vestiti elegante che esaltavano la sua figura per Tracy Lord di Scandalo a Filadelfia,         vestiti moderni, dai colori accesi e le forme squadrate per Susanna e un rigoroso               abbigliamento da donna in carriera, con tailleur e tubini per Amanda di La costola          

di Adamo.
