I wrote this public service ad to encourage businesses to pledge financial donations and to encourage parents to get their children to participate in the MS Read-a-thon in New Orleans. The client was Entergy's LP&L Division, Louisiana Power & Light.

The Cure For Multiple Sclerosis Lies In Books Like This.
By participating in the M. S. Read-a-thon, Louisiana children can help earn money to fight Multiple Sclerosis, a chronic, debilitating disease that strikes 10,000 people each year, resulting sometimes in complete paralysis. There is no known cure for the disease.
Last year, more than 69,000 kids helped in the Read-a-thon. They got friends and family to pledge a donation for every book they read – and raised over a quarter million dollars. But more money is needed if we’re ever going to find a cure for M.S.
