I am most influenced by the work of Paula Scheer. Since the 1970’s, she has been creating influential designs in advertising, packaging, art directing, branding and publication work. Her work at the Public Theater influenced my submission campaign for the Metrosphere. I pulledfrom her strong use of typography in order to communicate  the message to the students of “Call for Submissions.” Her ability to take typography and manipulate it into a beautiful compositions is reflected within my own work. Her current work of maps showcases her ability to merge both art and design in order communicate the message. In addition, her ability to be a leader in the design industry is a trait I strive to adopt and achieve in my own pratice.
