This is my independent project book in which I was free to choose any subject at all to create a book about. I originally chose what is happiness to explore and I had planned to take myself on a journey exploring happiness. However it soon dawned on me that this was much too broad and I then narrowed it down to happy mediums. I explored the use of abstract illustrations, which is something I had never really work with before however I very much enjoyed this project and enjoyed challenging myself on something that was a little out of my comfort zone. This was the final outcome of my book. I laser cut a front cover to represent a ‘see saw’ linking back to my theme of Happy mediums and showing to my audience the difficultly of getting the perfect balance.
