Digitalexicon started a few months ago, with the desire to design a series of basic shapes. Like an alphabet or a lexicon I have designed 70 different combinaisons with a four by four blocs grid constraint. Each shape itself hasn't nothing special, but combined with all others it happens to be pretty esthetic to my taste. I always be fascinated for totems, hieroglyphics or shape repetitions. This lexicon here could explain a digital language or some symbols from a world who is not ours, a little like the Stargate dialing from the movie.

As a motion graphics designer, I could not help but make these shapes moving. I make a special animation for each seventy square based on a four seconds loop. I think it's pretty hypnotic...
