This is a character design project for fashion brand
I created a girl for the brand, and a series of her for the look book, GIFs for Instagram and other marketing field.
Here I will show the girl from very sketch, to a digital version, and to the final one with watercolor and acrylic. Me and Minki have a lot of discuss during the process of creating this girl, and I think the process have more meaning for me than the complete one.
Digital drawings helped us to decided her hair colour and the how her face look like, then we decided give her more hand-made feeling. I used watercolor to redraw her, we both like the watercolor more!
When we decided what her face and her body looked like, I did a lot of quick sketches to visual her lifestyle and try to have more loose drawings of her.
This series is for Instagram updating. Minki wants it to show as 3 in a series, to fit the Instagram format. The first two sets are done by Flash, I will continue to do more in the future, and try more media later.
