Artist Statement
Art can be beautiful, thought-provoking, and uplifting, but it is too often also exclusive, elitist, and inaccessible. Stuck within museums and private collections, art can only be admired from afar, never owned, by most other than the super-rich. Audiences also hardly get to see or know the artists behind these works. I don't know if they count as art, but these hand-drawn cards are yours for the taking, no strings attached. Write a message and give it to someone, or keep it for yourself; do what you will, it's yours now. Find the number on the back of the card you want, and write your name and room # on the appropriate row in the printed list. Your chosen piece will be personally delivered to you after the exhibition is over!
