Guard is a homage to the sparkling and breath-taking London where, with a million lights, traditions and modernity are mixed creating an unique atmosphere. Inspired by one of its symbols - the Queen's Guards at Buckingham Palace - Guard is a table lamp that can be adapted to very different places thanks to its small dimensions: from the bedside table of the children room to a desk of a office to a shelf of a library.
Thanks to an internal battery, you can use it as a lantern. If you want to move it, you can grab the chin strap and use it as an handle.
A fur hat can be added as an accessory.
The project has been selected in the design contest Design Competition Creatività³ promoted by Regione Lombardia in collaboration with ADI. The prototipe was made by Kriliko and the tutor of the project was Pietro Tonetti.
Guard has been presented at HOMI 2016.
