This conceptual action sports line was created as a result of an initial material investigation that occurred during the early part of 2011. From my days in the footwear industry, I wanted to see if there was a way to extend the usefulness of virgin scrap materials before they ended up in landfill or an incinerator.

This project was not sponsored by Nike Action Sports (again, only conceptual from my efforts), but I was very thankful to have gotten feedback from Nike 6.0 leadership on my design proposals. I plan to use that feedback to advance this project even more in the near future. Stay tuned.
