Circular Feature
D&AD Student Awards 2012
The brief (set by Pentagram) asked to create three special edition books for the Typographic Circle (as a supplement to it's magazine 'Circular'); each featuring one of their previous speakers.

My intention was to create a distinctive publication that combines a classic and timeless typographic hierarchy with enough room for experimentation.
The colours are kept minimalistic (one colour for each publication + black + white) to provide an easy overall consistency throughout the book and in possible future publications.
To add a memorable element I designed the covers in a way that they can be unfolded into posters; the front with the cover revealing a full circle and the back with an inspirational quote by the featured designer.

The project was awarded 'Best of Year 2012' by the D&AD
