DMU Poker Society, Freshers Leaflet Design and Branding.
This is now my second year on the Poker Society committee as vice president of the society, as part of my duties since joining I've redesigned our logo and created leaflets the advertise our society to hand out at freshers fair this year. The design is simple and clean printed on an a6 sheet so it's small and perfect size to advertise on, the design includes a font family that really hit the spot in terms of something unique and attractive to read. The branding side of things have a really simple back story, I've used the dragon from the university logo and slotted in a spade icon from the decks of cards, I used the pen tool in illustrator to make the curves more fitting to my design so the icon has enough white spade around it to breathe.
