Visual Strategy
History and Construction
The publication allows the readers to understand the national narratives as promoted by the state curricula in India and Pakistan.
My role in the project was researching on the politics of the conflicts zone, understanding & proposing the visual code
and designing it according to the mission statement. The illustrations highlight the construction of national narratives which shape the ideologies and attitudes of people towards each other. I achieved this by drawing over the historical photographs from the pre-partition
and partition era to signify the element of construction in history. I also designed the layout of the book and oversaw the post production. I’m currently involved with their social media marketing.
Some of the illustrations according the chosen visual code.
