Name of the Bird: Lesser Adjutant Stork
This is a large wading bird with a bald head and a bare neck. It's scientific name is Leptoptilos javanicus. It is considered to be an vulnerable species of bird as the number of the bird is declining rapidly. The existing habitat of this bird is mostly in South and South east Asia. THis shot was taken near Guwahati which is the capital city of the state of Assam in India.
Green Bee eater: This small bird, Green bee eater is mostly found near grassland and forest areas eat insects. The habitat of this species of bird is found to be widespread running from sub saharan Africa through Senegal to Western Arabia to India and Vietnam.
