"Hierarchy", (digital) installation, plush toys (the turtle, the bear, the pig, the dog and the cow), white boxes, 2016
This work is directly inspired by my son's special needs and demands when it comes to bedtime. These are the toys he asks for and gets rid of, one after the next, for one entire hour, almost every night when he should go to bed. Always in a different order. If he doesn't receive the specific toy he asks for, he is not satisfied.
There is no hierarchy whatsoever. But for him, they have their own order, every night different.
"Hierarchy" has an interactive surprise for the public.
