Brief: To design a series of data visuals from data collected in a given song.
The song given was White Stripes' Seven Nation Army. Turns out, there are several interesting underlying meanings behind most elements of the music video, including the repeating triangles. Jack White heavily centred the 3 minute track around the number 3, the three-pointed shape (the triangle) and the band's three colour scheme because he believes it has mystical properties to help attain perfection. It was decided then that the data collected should further highlight and amplify the appearances of these red, black and white triangles.
