"An Extension of Us."
Our brief required us to push the boundaries of design, to approach problems idealistically. ClouB is a bio-design in which consumer product design and craft meet biomedical science principles.
My concept for ClouB was for human beings to embrace and acquire more appreciation for nature and natural occurrences. By using our own bio-field as a base, I created an idea that creates a unique and individual aesthetic experience for each user alongside the benefits and enhancements to everyday life.
A Futuristic Ecology-based Smart Home system, that has been designed to read a user’s Microbial (or Bacteria) cloud and interact with them on an advanced level.
ClouB analyses the bacteria cloud and provides instant results to the user’s smart device regarding their mood, health, fitness among other areas. The visual aesthetic includes interaction with various components around the home, for example a glass on a table or touching a door handle, transmits bacteria analysis to the main hub immediately.
