Imago Theatre hired me to design and paint a series of backdrops and stage elements for their upcoming production called 'La Belle.' The play is an adaptation of Beauty and The Beast, which will incorporate puppets, special effects, and song to retell the classic fairy tale. 

The Director gave me this reference photo and said he liked 'the lines and the angle.'  He also requested "it to feel cozy and close to evening - so darker tones, reds, and tones that would go with red, make it contrast the green/white of the rest of the palace."
