EPIC Creative Design Internship

My EPIC Creative Design Internship
During the Summer of 2015, I did an internship with the Design Team at EPIC Creative in West Bend, WI. During my time there I learned so much about the design process, the inner workings of an advertising agency, and the industry as a whole. Their clients include Western & Fischer Plows, Roto Grip, Storm Bowling, Garlock, Bob-Cat Mowers, and the list goes on.

One of my main duties was to update past advertisements for use in new publications. Some needed copy updates, some needed slight design updates, and some needed radical redesigns. These are some examples that I worked with from Western & Fisher Plows.
I also had the opportunity to work on my illustration skills while I was there. This is a piece we did for Garlock that illustrates the brewing process. This is not entirely my original work, as it was done as a team. My job was to revise parts of the illustration and key.
EPIC also does work for Roto Grip & Storm Bowling. They design everything from the logo on each new ball, to the catalogs that get sent out to stores. These are some examples of in-store collateral from the advertising campaign that I worked on.
I enjoyed working on this project because I got to see the development of the ball logos all the way through to the final advertising pieces that were sent out.
